⏱️ 00:00 — Duck Head Prototyping

So, I keep seeing these AI beaded ducks everywhere in my feed, and today we're trying to make them from scratch. I feel like the head would be pretty similar to my beaded duck, so I'm going to try to reuse that shape. We're going to need some beading thread and a beading needle. Using transparent beads for the filling will just make them even shinier. I'm just going to slide it in. And now I'll try to add the beak. I feel like the side view is kind of cute, but the front view could be a little better. I want to try a different version.

⏱️ 00:20 — Adjusting Face Details & Profile Check

I'll try to add orange for the beak here already. The eyes were a bit too high on my previous version, but try to add them a bit lower this time. No! I knew this was going to happen. And there we go. I do feel like it's much better than the first version, especially the profile view. Step one is done.

⏱️ 00:45 — Weaving the 3D Body

For the body, I think I'll try to work around the 10 mm round bead, so it would be about the same size of my beaded ghost. Not too bad. Let's add another round. So pretty. I feel like it kind of works in terms of size. Now I have to figure out how to have the right pointy shape. So, I'll start doing decreases where I skip adding some beads.

⏱️ 01:05 — Stuffing & Shaping

Not too bad. We're almost there. We just need to add some stuffing inside. I'm just going to use some random plastic wrap, so I'm going to use my little scissors. Wrap it inside. I think it would be even better if I managed to add a little pointy tip here. And the body is ready now.

⏱️ 01:25 — Segment Connection

I just have to attach these two pieces together. I have no idea what I'm doing. Freestyle. Ooh. Here's our little guy. I have a problem because I'm too obsessed with it, and now I have to create an army of them. Okay, I want to try something.

⏱️ 01:40 — Designing the Army of Ducks

There we have all of our little heads. And now I just have to attach all the heads to the bodies. Little shiny duck. I'll do the dark green one. This is so uncomfortable to film and craft at the same time. Every time I finish one, I'm just way too excited. Okay, this one's head is really tilted, but I think it's just cute. That was the last one. They're so cute and sparkly. Now I'm seriously thinking about turning them into a sun catcher, but if you guys have other ideas, please let me know and I'll just update in the part two.
