I just found these perfectly-sized brooch pins, and here's what we're going to do with them. So, I have these two beaded onigiri friends, and they're super cute, but honestly, they've just kind of been sitting around for a while. So, I figured why not turn them into brooches.

Now, this is the part where I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I don't know if this is the right way to attach them, but I basically grabbed some beading thread, my needle, and just started sewing through each onigiri. I basically kept going back and forth a few times until everything felt kind of tight.

And here they are, attached to my tote bag. how they turned out, but I do have a bit of a gravity issue with the shrimp one, which means I'll have to start over and place the brooch a bit higher. But, I guess for now I'll just put it aside and come back to it years later, as crafters do, right?
