Hi friends. In this video, I'm going to show you how to do triangular peyote stitch to create a triangle shape. I'm going to use two different colors of pony beads, and of course, if you're working with a specific pattern, make sure to use the matching colors. We're simply going to set up our beading needle by passing the right length of thread through it. You can double a big part of the thread, so it's easier and you don't have to pull through the whole length.

Add three beads onto your thread. Leave a 5 to 10 cm tail and tie at least two or three knots to close a loop between the beads. Pull tight, and you can simply cut the end thread close to the knots. And then pass your needle through the first bead of that structure. I'll be using the dark blue beads for this row, and we're going to add two beads between each light blue bead. So, six beads in total.

Once you finish adding two beads all around, pass back through the first bead of this row. Then you can pull the thread tight, and you can always gently push the beads with your fingers so that they are well aligned. For the second row, I'll be using the light blue beads again. We'll start by adding two beads, and then one single bead. And once we reach the next corner, we'll add two beads. Then one, then two, then one. And don't forget to pass through the first bead of this row and pull tight.

For the third row, we'll add two beads on each corner and single beads in between. So, let's start with two beads, then one, then one, and repeat that all around, so two more times. Once you finish the round, pass back through the first bead of this row and pull tight. Again, for the fourth row, we'll repeat the same pattern. Add two beads on every corner and single beads in between. We'll start with two beads, and then add a single bead three times in a row, and we'll repeat this all around.

Pass back through the first bead of this row and pull tight. And for the fifth row, as for the previous ones, add two beads at the corner and single beads in between. For this row, it's two beads first and then four times a single bead, and repeat that two more times. Once you finish adding beads all around, pass back through the first bead of this row and pull tight. And you can keep increasing the size of your triangle exactly like that.
