How to download, open, and print your PDF

Once you've checked out, your pattern PDF is delivered three ways at once:

  1. Email with a download link

  2. In your account at mindofjulia.com/account → Orders

  3. On the order confirmation page right after checkout

On a computer (Mac or Windows)

Click the download link. The file lands in your Downloads folder. Open it with any PDF reader, or even your browser.

On a phone (iPhone or Android)

Open the email or account page in your phone's browser, tap the download link, and the PDF will open.

⚠️ CRITICAL STEP - Downloading offline: Many mobile devices only open a temporary, low-resolution "preview widget" when you click download. This preview is easily lost if you close the tab, and can throttle diagram sizes. Always ensure you download and save the file completely onto your local phone storage first (using the "Save to Files" option on Apple, or the absolute "Downloads" directory on Android devices). Once saved, open the static file directly within your device's native PDF viewing tool or any browser page for crisp, unscaled rendering.

Printing

For best results when printing at home:

  • Paper size: A4 or US Letter, both work.

  • Color: Print in color (the color references matter).

  • Quality: "High quality" or "Photo" setting if you have it, keeps the bead illustrations crisp.

  • Scaling: "Actual size" or 100%, not "fit to page".

Printing at a copy shop

Yes, most copy shops can print our PDFs from a USB drive or a phone. Just bring the file with you. Some copy shops have minimum print requirements (e.g., binding) but a basic loose-leaf printout works perfectly.

What if I didn't receive the email?

  1. Check your Spam/Junk folder: Automated emails sometimes get filtered there.

  2. Check your payment status: If you experienced an error during checkout (e.g., a rejected card), the order may not have gone through. If your bank sent a payment alert but you have no order confirmation from us, the charge was likely blocked and will be reversed automatically. You have not been charged, and you can safely try placing the order again.
